Emirates, with nearly four decades of experience in global passenger and cargo transportation, has launched Emirates Courier Express, a comprehensive delivery solution poised to transform the express courier industry. This new service aims to offer speed, reliability, and flexibility, optimizing logistics with an innovative approach.
Testing and Results Before Launch
To ensure an efficient product aligned with market needs, Emirates conducted pilot tests with global customers. Over the past year, Emirates Courier Express transported thousands of packages from countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. With an average delivery time of under 48 hours, the company has demonstrated its responsiveness ahead of its official launch.
Badr Abbas, Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, stated: “Emirates Courier Express is an evolution in how we move cargo globally. Our world-class infrastructure and reimagined logistics processes have allowed us to set a new benchmark in the industry.”

A Revolutionary Delivery Model
Unlike the traditional hub-and-spoke transport model, where packages make multiple stops before reaching their destination, Emirates Courier Express adopts a direct approach. Mirroring passenger transport logic, packages travel from origin to final destination without interruptions, leveraging the airline’s extensive global flight network. This method significantly reduces transit times and package handling, providing a competitive edge for customers.
The service offers tiered options, from urgent 24-hour delivery to a Premium 48-hour solution. Additionally, Emirates is developing further innovative solutions to optimize the delivery process.
Global Coverage and Expansion
At launch, Emirates Courier Express will operate in seven key markets, though its growth potential is limitless. Thanks to Emirates’ vast international network, the service’s expansion is only a matter of time.
With a fleet of over 250 wide-body aircraft, including passenger and cargo planes, the service guarantees flexible and stable transport capacity. It also relies on a trusted network of logistics partners handling customs clearance and first- and last-mile transportation, ensuring seamless door-to-door service.
Customized Solutions for Diverse Industries
Emirates Courier Express caters to multiple market segments, offering tailored solutions for industries such as fashion, technology, and critical medical equipment. Its cargo and logistics infrastructure, including cold-chain capabilities, ensures the secure transport of sensitive products.
Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation at Emirates SkyCargo, emphasized: “This launch reflects our commitment to challenging existing standards and innovating in logistics. Our goal is to provide the fastest, most reliable, and cost-effective solution for international trade.”
Technology and Transparency in Shipping
Emirates’ new service is fully digital, featuring a technological platform designed to integrate directly with clients’ systems. Advanced real-time tracking tools and instant updates ensure transparency, efficiency, and reliability at every stage of the process.
