LATAM Airlines announced this Wednesday the launch of a new direct connection between Porto Alegre and Buenos Aires, starting on September 2, 2025. The route will be operated from Jorge Newbery Aeroparque with three weekly frequencies, strengthening tourism and business ties between Argentina and Brazil.
Details of the New Service
The airline will offer flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in both directions. The route will be serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 174 passengers, including a Premium Economy cabin—ideal for those seeking greater comfort on regional flights.

Florencia Scardaccione, Commercial Manager of LATAM in Argentina, highlighted the strategic importance of this new connection: “With the launch of this new route from Porto Alegre to Aeroparque, we are strengthening the link between Argentina and Brazil, boosting tourism and trade between both countries. This initiative will not only facilitate tourism but also promote cultural and economic exchange.”
The new route aims to cater to both business travelers and tourists, addressing the growing demand for direct connectivity between key cities in Mercosur.
