Venezolana de Aviación Resumes Flights Between Caracas and Panama City This Friday

After nearly ten months without air connectivity between Caracas and Panama City, Venezolana de Aviación officially announced the resumption of its direct flights between the two capitals starting this Friday, May 23.

The airline shared the news on Wednesday evening through its social media channels, stating that the route will operate weekly, with flights scheduled every Friday. The outbound flight will depart from Maiquetía International Airport at 1:30 PM, landing at Tocumen International Airport at 2:30 PM (local time). The return flight is set to depart Panama at 3:30 PM, arriving in Venezuela at 6:30 PM (local time).

Tickets are already available for purchase on the airline’s official website.

It is worth recalling that flights between the two countries were suspended on July 31, 2024, after the Venezuelan government announced the severance of diplomatic relations with Panama, leading to an immediate freeze in bilateral ties, including air services.
