This move positions Punta Cana as the sixth Caribbean destination in Air France’s network, joining Cayenne (French Guiana), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Fort-de-France (Martinique), Saint Maarten, and Havana (Cuba).
With this new route, Air France strengthens its presence in the Caribbean, responding to the growing demand from European travelers for tropical destinations with direct access and greater comfort. The use of the Boeing 777-300ER allows the airline to offer a long-haul flight experience with high comfort standards, particularly on a route with strong tourism potential during the winter season.
