An Expansion Strategy from Miami
This new flight is part of American Airlines’ largest summer program ever launched from Miami. Between May 16 and September 2, the airline will operate over 37,200 flights from this South Florida city. Globally, the number rises to more than 715,000 flights during the season.
Strengthening the Hub and Enhanced New Destinations
The airline is not only focusing on Rome. It is also increasing frequencies from Miami to highly sought-after destinations such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Montego Bay, Los Angeles, and New York. Currently, the company operates flights to 170 destinations from Miami, 90 of which are exclusive to American at this airport.
With this addition, American reinforces its role as a key player at Miami International Airport, solidifying the terminal as one of the most important gateways between the United States and Europe.
