Why Seattle?

Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss, explains: “Seattle is an inspiring destination with its spirit of innovation and cultural diversity. For many of our passengers, exploring the Pacific Northwest region is a long-awaited dream.”

The capital of Washington State stands out for its unique blend of natural landscapes, cultural richness, and a strong tech DNA. Nestled between the Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains, Seattle offers visitors everything from hiking in national parks to excursions to nearby islands and urban adventures in alternative neighborhoods, museums, and iconic cafés. All this, without forgetting landmarks like the Space Needle or the prominent presence of tech giants such as Amazon and Microsoft.

Beyond connecting two cities, Edelweiss aims to facilitate unforgettable travel experiences. “With the new direct connection from Zurich, we not only offer a comfortable and practical journey but also a gateway to new adventures for our travelers,” Bauer stated during the inauguration.
