LATAM Airlines is doubling down on its commitment to Colombia’s air connectivity by announcing an international expansion from Bogotá. The airline will integrate new seasonal routes and increase frequencies on strategic routes, as part of its goal to grow its international capacity by 10% in 2025.
New Seasonal Routes: Belém, Aruba, and Curaçao
The international network from Colombia’s capital will expand with three seasonal destinations:
- Bogotá–Belém: Operates from November 1 to 30, coinciding with COP30.
- Bogotá–Aruba: Available from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
- Bogotá–Curaçao: Runs from December 2, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
Each of these routes will feature three weekly flights on Airbus A320 aircraft, enhancing options for travelers interested in Caribbean getaways or international events.

Increased Frequencies on High-Demand Routes
Simultaneously, LATAM will significantly boost connectivity on key routes:
Bogotá–Orlando: Now with 14 weekly flights.
Thanks to its strategic alliance with Delta Air Lines, this route will double its frequency, facilitating connections within the United States. Passengers will enjoy an integrated experience and greater flexibility when planning their trips.
Bogotá–Lima and Bogotá–São Paulo: Expanded access to the continent.
Both destinations, considered regional hubs for LATAM, will also receive more weekly flights, improving connections across South America and broadening opportunities for business, tourism, and international travel.
Commitment to Growth and Connectivity
During the first quarter of 2025, LATAM transported 2.3 million passengers in Colombia, achieving an average occupancy rate of 80%. These figures reflect the airline’s strong momentum and validate its expansion strategy in key markets.
“We are excited to continue opening routes that make sense for travelers and the country. This growth reflects the collaborative work of our commercial, operational, and planning teams,” emphasized Camilo Prieto, Country Sales Manager of LATAM Airlines Colombia, in a LinkedIn post.
With this expansion, LATAM solidifies its role as a key player in Colombia’s international connectivity, responding to growing market demand and strengthening its presence in the region’s air travel landscape.
