Cirium, the aviation analytics specialist, released its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for May 2025. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) once again claimed the top spot in the “Global Airlines” category, with 89.72% of its flights arriving on time.
In North America, Air Canada led with 79.06%, followed closely by Delta Air Lines at 79.03%, and Alaska Airlines in third place with 78.65%.
In Latin America, Copa Airlines retained first place with 93.49%, trailed by Brazil’s GOL at 90.70%, Aeromexico with 89.06%, Avianca at 85.81%, and AZUL with 85.80%.

In Europe, SAS took the top position with 89.72%, followed by Iberia Express at 89.52% and Austrian Airlines with 88.35%.
In Asia-Pacific, Virgin Australia ranked first with 85.83%, Thai AirAsia came in second at 84.63%, and Air New Zealand secured third place with 82.40%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Safair led with an impressive 95.22%, Royal Jordanian followed at 94.88%, and Oman Air took third with 92.34%.
