Avianca has announced the launch of a new non-stop route between Bogotá and Belém in northern Brazil, set to begin operations on October 27, 2025. This connection not only strengthens the airline’s presence in Brazil but also positions it as a key player in connectivity with the Amazon region, just as the capital of the state of Pará prepares to host the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in November.
Operational Details
The new route will feature three weekly flights operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity for 180 passengers. In total, Avianca will offer over 1,000 weekly seats between the two destinations, boosting tourism as well as cultural and business exchanges.

Fourth Destination in Brazil
With the addition of Belém, Avianca expands its Brazilian network, adding this new destination to its established routes to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Manaus. All are connected to Bogotá’s hub, facilitating multiple travel combinations for passengers across Latin America.
Ticket Sales
Tickets will be available starting July 24 through all official channels: the website, mobile app, contact center, physical sales points, and travel agencies.
This new route reinforces Avianca’s commitment to connecting the continent’s most strategic points while supporting global events and strengthening the airline’s regional presence.
