JetBlue is strengthening its presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with new destinations, increased flight frequencies, and significant growth of its premium Mint service. This strategy is designed to meet rising traveler demand and solidify the airline’s position as a leader in the region.

New Routes from Fort Lauderdale: More Connections, More Options

Starting in November and December 2025, JetBlue will launch year-round direct flights from Fort Lauderdale to four key destinations:

  • Atlanta: Returns as a daily route beginning December 4.
  • Austin: Also returns with two daily flights starting November 20.
  • Norfolk: Added as a new destination with five weekly flights beginning December 4.
  • Tampa: New daily connection starting December 4.

These additions enhance travel options for both South Florida residents and visitors looking to connect to the Caribbean or enjoy the region’s beaches.

Boosting Existing Routes: More Flights, More Flexibility

The airline will also increase frequencies on several high-demand routes starting October 26 and November 2025. These include:

  • Las Vegas: Adds one daily Mint service flight, reaching three daily flights.
  • Los Angeles (LAX): Adds another Mint flight, totaling six daily flights from November 21.
  • Phoenix: Will offer two daily flights, both with Mint service.
  • Raleigh-Durham and Richmond: Double their daily frequencies to two flights per day each.

JetBlue to Introduce Mint Experience on Orlando-Las Vegas Flights for First Time

Mint: The Premium Service That Elevates the Experience

A highlight of this expansion is the growth of Mint, JetBlue’s premium service that redefines business class. During the peak winter season, all flights between Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Francisco will feature the Mint experience.

This service includes:

  • Fully reclining lie-flat seats.
  • Elevated dining options.
  • Personalized service.

With 13 daily Mint flights from Fort Lauderdale this winter, JetBlue becomes the only airline offering domestic lie-flat seats from the city during this season. “Mint is a reinvented premium experience that delivers a new level of comfort, privacy, and hospitality,” said Dave Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Alliances at JetBlue.

Fort Lauderdale: A Key City in JetBlue’s Network

For 25 years—since it became JetBlue’s first-ever destination—Fort Lauderdale has been a cornerstone of the airline’s operations. This summer, JetBlue operates an average of 72 daily flights to 31 destinations, and by December, that number will rise to 95 daily flights to 37 cities. Additionally, the airline maintains its leadership in offering the most lie-flat seats on transcontinental routes from South Florida.

Mark Gale, CEO and Aviation Director of FLL, emphasized the impact of this expansion: “The additional daily frequencies on key routes and the expanded availability of the premium Mint experience will benefit FLL travelers.”

A New Alliance: JetBlue + United Airlines

Later this year, travelers will enjoy additional benefits thanks to Blue Sky, the new collaboration between JetBlue and United Airlines. Through this partnership, frequent flyers can earn and redeem points on over 125 daily flights operated by both airlines from Fort Lauderdale.
