LATAM Airlines has confirmed an ambitious expansion of its international network from Brazil. Starting in September 2025, the airline will increase the number of direct international flights by 20%, rising from 370 to 440 weekly operations. This growth responds to the sustained demand for international travel, particularly during the last quarter of the year and the first months of 2026.
The expansion strategy includes the launch of new regular routes and increased frequency on seven existing ones. The new connections and additional flights are now available for booking on latam.com and official channels.
New International Routes from Brazil
Beginning in September 2025, LATAM will activate six new routes to enhance international connectivity from various Brazilian cities:
- Porto Alegre – Buenos Aires/Aeroparque: Three weekly flights starting in September.
- São Paulo/Guarulhos – Córdoba: Daily service (seven weekly flights) from late October.
- Belém – Bogotá: Four flights in November, as a special operation for COP30.
- Florianópolis – Lima: Three weekly flights starting in December.
- São Paulo/Guarulhos – Rosario: Four weekly flights from late December.
- Florianópolis – Buenos Aires/Ezeiza: Daily service starting in January 2026.

Increased Frequencies on Key Routes
In addition to new routes, LATAM will strengthen its presence on strategic routes starting in November 2025. The most notable changes in weekly frequencies include:
- Fortaleza – Lisbon: From 1 to 3 flights.
- São Paulo/Guarulhos – Lisbon: From 9 to 14 flights.
- Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Lima: From 7 to 10 flights.
- São Paulo/Guarulhos – Orlando: From 9 to 14 flights (starting December).
- Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Santiago: From 28 to 42 flights (starting January 2026).
- Florianópolis – Santiago: From 12 to 23 flights (starting January 2026).
This international expansion is supported by Embratur, the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion, as part of a joint strategy to position Brazil as a global destination and strengthen its air connectivity.
