Ryanair Surpasses 19 Million Passengers in June Despite Middle East Conflict Cancellations
Ryanair, Europe’s leading low-cost airline, concluded June with outstanding results despite operational challenges. According to the latest report, the airline carried 19.9 million passengers, marking a 3% increase compared to the same month last year.
A Strong Load Factor Holding Steady
The Irish airline highlighted that it achieved a 95% load factor, identical to June 2024. This key industry metric underscores Ryanair’s efficiency in filling its aircraft even amid logistical setbacks.
Over 100,000 Flights Operated in a Single Month
During June, Ryanair operated approximately 109,000 commercial flights. However, this volume of operations occurred despite the cancellation of around 800 flights. The primary cause was geopolitical instability in the Middle East, a region that has disrupted flight schedules for several airlines worldwide.

Sustained Growth Over the Past Year
The annual performance also paints a positive picture for Ryanair. Between June 2024 and June 2025, the airline transported a total of 202.6 million passengers, representing a 7% increase compared to the same period the previous year. In terms of occupancy, the company maintained a 94% load factor, reaffirming its strength in demand management.
These results solidify Ryanair’s position as one of Europe’s most resilient and fastest-growing airlines.
