Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian have introduced Atmos Rewards, a renewed loyalty program that unifies the best of Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles into a single platform. Through this initiative, both airlines aim to transform the global travel experience by offering more choices, more rewards, and greater access to destinations worldwide.
Atmos Rewards will allow members to earn and redeem points across a network connecting over 1,000 destinations, supported by the strength of Alaska, Hawaiian, and more than 30 global partner airlines, including the oneworld alliance.
“Atmos Rewards is more than a loyalty program: it reflects how passengers travel today. We give them total control over how they earn and use their points, while honoring the legacies of Alaska and Hawaiian,” said Andrew Harrison, Chief Commercial Officer of Alaska Airlines.
Three Flexible Ways to Earn Points
Starting in 2026, members will be able to choose how they prefer to earn points and can change their option once a year:
- Distance Flown: 1 point per mile flown, ideal for those who travel long distances or on international routes.
- Price Paid: 5 points for every dollar spent on fares and premium cabin upgrades.
- Segments Flown: 500 points per flight segment, designed for those who take multiple short flights, such as inter-island trips in Hawaii or within California.

Redemptions from 4,500 Points and More Benefits
Points can be redeemed for flights on Alaska, Hawaiian, and international partners starting from just 4,500 points for a one-way ticket. Furthermore, members will have access to:
- Bookings at nearly one million hotels and vacation rentals.
- Exclusive experiences and special events through Atmos Rewards Unlocked.
Connectivity and Exclusive Advantages
Alaska and Hawaiian will implement Starlink across their fleets, offering the fastest Wi-Fi on the market. Thanks to a partnership with T-Mobile, this service will be free for Atmos Rewards members. Installation on Alaska’s aircraft will begin in 2026 and be completed in 2027.
The program also extends beyond flights. Members will be able to earn points with partners like Lyft:
- 2 points for every dollar spent on regular rides.
- 3 points for every dollar spent on airport or premium category rides.
Cards and Premium Benefits
The new Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite card, in partnership with Bank of America, will allow members to earn 1 status point for every 2 dollars spent, accelerating access to rewards.
Upon accumulating 10,000 status points, members begin unlocking milestones that deliver exclusive benefits.
Upgrade and VIP Treatment Enhancements
Members with Atmos Titanium status will enjoy complimentary same-day upgrades to international Business Class for themselves and a companion, with no points or certificates required.
Additionally, starting next spring, members with status will be able to access complimentary upgrades on Hawaiian Airlines flights within North America, also for themselves and a companion.
Atmos Communities: Personalized Benefits
Beginning in 2026, each member will be able to join Atmos Communities, groups designed to offer benefits tailored to their interests or place of residence. These include already available initiatives like Alaska’s Club 49 or Hawaiian’s Huakaʻi in Hawaii. There will also be communities focused on families, wellness, and more.
With Atmos Rewards, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are marking a turning point in loyalty programs. It’s a proposition that combines flexibility, technology, and tangible benefits, designed to reward frequent travelers and give them more control than ever over how they fly and enjoy.
