Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has unveiled its new First Grand Suite, a concept that elevates the First Class experience to an unprecedented level. Integrated within the SWISS Senses program, this offering is designed for those who value space, tranquility, and privacy, whether traveling for business or personal reasons.
Maximum Space, Privacy, and Flexibility
The key innovation of the Grand Suite is the ability to combine two adjacent First Class suites, along with the aisle, to transform them into a spacious private loft. This exclusive environment, surrounded by walls over 1.8 meters (6 feet) high, can be adapted for multiple functions: an office, a dining room, or a bedroom.
In this way, couples, families, or executives can enjoy a fully customizable space, free from interruptions and featuring all the hallmarks of SWISS’s flagship service, tailored to each traveler’s rhythm.

Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer of SWISS, explained: “With our new SWISS First Grand Suite, we are further enhancing our First Class product, aimed at those premium customers who seek privacy and greater freedom to design their personal space onboard. We want them to feel like they have their own ‘loft in the sky,’ a place where they can relax, work, or simply enjoy the experience.”
Launch and Availability
The new product will debut in 2026, when the airline begins operating its Airbus A350 and refurbished Airbus A330 aircraft. Later, the Grand Suite will also be available on the company’s Boeing 777s.
An Exclusive Offering for a Select Group of Customers
The Grand Suite complements the current range of First Class cabins, which includes the window-side Single Suite and the center-aisle Suite Plus, also configurable for two passengers. However, the new offering will be even more exclusive: it can only be reserved through the SWISS First dedicated hotline, which provides personalized concierge service, and it is available for a maximum of three travelers.
