Wingo has announced the extension of its Medellín–Curaçao route until December 13, 2025, reinforcing its commitment to regional connectivity and responding to the high demand this route experienced during the recent peak travel season.
Since its relaunch in June, the route has operated with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays, a schedule that will remain unchanged throughout the extension period.

Jorge Jiménez, Vice President of Commercial and Planning at Wingo, explained that the route’s strong performance was key to its continuation. “The extension and expansion of this route are a direct response to its outstanding performance during the past high season and the significant demand from travelers interested in flying between Medellín and Curaçao. We want to enable more people to explore the Caribbean and Colombia with affordable fares and reliable service,” he stated.
Wingo will offer approximately 1,500 seats per month at competitive prices, providing more travelers with direct connections between Medellín’s José María Córdova Airport and Curaçao’s Hato International Airport. This initiative aims to boost tourism and strengthen ties between Colombia and the Dutch Antilles.
The Medellín–Curaçao route has become a key alternative for those seeking nonstop Caribbean travel from Colombia’s interior. Its continuity solidifies Wingo’s position as a relevant player in the region, with a focus on competitive pricing and dependable service.
