During the Christmas holiday season, Air Europa will strengthen its presence in the Dominican Republic with a clear commitment: doubling the frequencies between Madrid and Santo Domingo. Between December 18 and January 31, 2026, the airline will increase to two daily flights on this key route, translating to an 87% increase in available seat capacity.
New Schedules for Greater Flexibility
The expansion includes a departure from Madrid at 11:30 and a return from Santo Domingo at 17:30. With this schedule, passengers will have nearly 27,000 additional seats to plan their travels during one of the year’s highest-demand periods.

Leadership in the Caribbean Market
Air Europa thus consolidates its position in the region, where it is already the European airline with the most operational frequencies. In addition to the reinforced flights to Santo Domingo, it maintains five weekly frequencies to Punta Cana and two to Santiago de los Caballeros, in the heart of the Cibao region.
Dreamliner Technology at Passenger’s Service
All operations to the Dominican Republic are performed with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the flagship of the company’s fleet. This state-of-the-art model reduces fuel consumption and emissions by up to 25%.
Its design also makes a difference in the onboard experience: higher ceilings, windows 30% larger, and an innovative air renewal system improve comfort and rest on long-haul journeys.
Premium Experience with a Spanish Signature
Travelers who choose Business class will find seats that convert into two-meter beds, a comprehensive entertainment system, and a gourmet culinary offering created by the renowned chef Martín Berasategui.
