Avianca Expands Its Americas Business Class to Over 80 International Routes
Avianca has confirmed that its new Americas Business Class is now available on over 80 international routes operated with Airbus A320 aircraft. This offering aims to elevate the travel experience on flights within the American continent, with a service designed to combine comfort, preferential attention, and efficiency.
According to Frederico Pedreira, CEO of the airline, the expansion is a response to the product’s high acceptance rate: “We have incorporated this service on more routes, driven by the excellent reception from the over 298,000 customers who have flown in our Americas Business Class… Today, over 80 routes connect from Bogota, Medellin, and San Salvador, and soon more will be added from Quito and Guayaquil.”
Active Routes from Bogota
The Colombian capital is established as the main hub for this class. From there, flights with Americas Business Class connect to:
- Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, New York, Washington, Dallas/Fort Worth, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami.
- Cancun, Mexico City, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, and San Juan (Puerto Rico).
- Guatemala City, Aruba, Curacao, Caracas, San Jose (Costa Rica), Panama City, and Georgetown.
- Quito, Guayaquil, Manaus, Lima, Cusco, La Paz, and Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
- Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Asuncion, Cordoba, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires (Ezeiza and Aeroparque), and Montevideo.
Effective October 26, the Bogota-Monterrey route will be added.
From Medellin: More Options to North and South America
Passengers departing from Medellin have access to the executive cabin to:
- New York, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Cancun, and Mexico City.
- Punta Cana, San Juan (Puerto Rico), San Jose (Costa Rica), Quito, Guayaquil, and Lima.
- Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile, and Buenos Aires (Ezeiza).
Furthermore, effective December 3, the Medellin-Orlando route will be added.
San Salvador, Key Hub in Central America
The Salvadoran capital expands its premium connectivity to:
- Toronto, Boston, New York, Washington, San Francisco, Ontario (California), Los Angeles, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and Miami.
- Cancun, Mexico City, San Pedro Sula, Guatemala City, Tegucigalpa, Managua, San Jose (Costa Rica), and Panama City.
- Medellin, Bogota, Quito, Guayaquil, and Lima.
For the high season year-end period, the following routes are added:
- Orlando (effective December 1).
- Montreal (effective December 2).
- Chicago (effective December 2).
- Las Vegas (effective December 4).
New Connections from Ecuador
Effective November 1:
- Quito-Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) and San Jose-New York.
- Guayaquil-Buenos Aires (Ezeiza), Miami, and New York.
