Argentine low-cost carrier Flybondi announced this Tuesday the launch of its new international route between Córdoba and Asunción, which will begin operations on December 12th. The company will offer five weekly flights, available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tickets will go on sale in the coming days via its official website.
This new operation adds to the airline’s recent announcements in the Paraguayan market, consolidating an increasingly broad network. Just days ago, the airline confirmed the return of the Buenos Aires-Asunción route and the reactivation of the Buenos Aires-Encarnación route, which was inaugurated in August with special flights and will resume its regular frequency in December.
With this new connection, Córdoba continues to position itself as a key hub for air connectivity in Argentina. By offering direct international flights, passengers can travel without having to pass through Buenos Aires, strengthening the province’s role as a strategic center in the region.

Flybondi’s CEO, Mauricio Sana, emphasized: “The addition of the Córdoba-Asunción route is a very important step for our network, as it strengthens Flybondi’s international connectivity and enhances the link between Argentina and Paraguay. We want more and more people to have the possibility to travel in a simple, safe, and accessible way, and for Córdoba to continue consolidating itself as a strategic hub with direct routes that bypass Buenos Aires. With this new offering, we continue to expand opportunities for tourism and business in the region.”
With this new route, Flybondi strengthens its international network and connects Argentina with strategic regional destinations. In Brazil, it operates flights from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Florianópolis, Salvador de Bahia, and Maceió, and from Córdoba to Rio de Janeiro and Florianópolis. In Paraguay, it offers the Buenos Aires-Asunción and Buenos Aires-Encarnación routes, while in Peru it connects Puerto Iguazú with Lima.
