Hyderabad: Pharmaceutical and Tech Hub

With over 7 million inhabitants, Hyderabad, the capital of the state of Telangana, is experiencing economic growth above the national average. The city is recognized as the “Pharmaceutical Capital of India,” hosting more than 800 companies in the sector.

The appeal is not limited to pharmaceuticals. American and European multinationals in the technology sector also have a presence in the region, solidifying Hyderabad’s status as a business hub. The local airport, the fourth busiest in the country after Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, continues to see strong growth in passenger traffic. Its strategic location in southern India and domestic connections with IndiGo position it as a key logistics center.

With this new route, KLM strengthens its presence in a strategic market and enhances connectivity between Europe and India, targeting especially business travelers and growing tourist traffic.
