The 2025–2026 winter season will bring significant updates to KLM’s network. Between October 26 and March 28, the Dutch airline will operate flights to 161 destinations in total: 92 in Europe and 69 intercontinental, offering approximately 25,000 different connections for travelers worldwide.
Compared to last winter, the company will increase its seat capacity by 6%, with notable growth to India (+28%) and a surge in travel to the Caribbean (+17%).
New Destinations Added
This winter, KLM is adding two new routes:
- Kittilä (Finland): A weekly flight starting in late November, ideal for those seeking a winter experience in Lapland.
- Barbados, which returns to the airline’s portfolio, combined with Georgetown (Guyana), with three weekly frequencies.
Additionally, destinations launched during the summer will be available for the first time in the winter season. In Europe, Exeter (United Kingdom) and Ljubljana (Slovenia) stand out, both with daily flights from Amsterdam. Intercontinentally, Hyderabad (India) and Barbados/Georgetown are being added, while San Diego (USA) will have direct service three times per week starting in late February.

Boost on Popular Routes
The airline is also adjusting frequencies on high-demand destinations:
- Delhi and Panama City: 10 weekly flights each, thanks to three additional operations from January through February.
- Bangkok: 10 weekly flights from mid-December.
- Curaçao: Up to 11 frequencies per week.
- Cape Town: 11 weekly flights throughout the season, one more than the previous winter.
Other destinations with increased flights include Boston, Miami, Portland, San Francisco, Bangalore, Aruba/Bonaire, São Paulo, Lima, and San José.
In Europe, the airline will maintain its connection to Ibiza until December and resume it in February and March 2026. Frequencies will also be added to Naples, Athens, Bordeaux, Gothenburg, Poznan, Cork, Leeds, and Vienna during peak demand months.
Fleet Renewal for a More Sustainable Future
This expansion strategy is accompanied by fleet modernization. This winter, KLM will receive its final Boeing 787-10 (the 15th) and welcome three new Airbus A321neo aircraft. These quieter and more efficient planes will contribute to more sustainable operations and enhance the passenger experience on long and medium-haul routes.
