Punctuality remains one of the most valued factors for passengers when choosing which airline to fly with. According to the monthly report from Cirium, a firm specialized in aviation industry analysis, August 2025 provided a clear picture of which airlines lead in meeting their schedules.
Azul Crowned as the Most Punctual Globally
Brazil’s Azul took first place in the “Global Airlines” category, with an outstanding 92.15% of flights on time.

North America
In the North American region, Delta Air Lines took the top spot with 83.93% punctuality. Second place went to Spirit Airlines with 78.51%, surpassing traditional competitors. Alaska Airlines rounded out the podium with 77.35%.
Latin America
Performance in Latin America was marked by the leadership of Azul, which took first place with 92.15%. It was followed by Copa Airlines with 90.71%, Brazil’s GOL with 90.10%, Aeromexico with 87.63%, and LATAM Airlines with 83.84%.

Europe
In Europe, SAS secured first place with 87.20% punctuality. Second place went to LOT Polish Airlines with 82.96%, while Austrian Airlines came in third with 81.12%.
Asia-Pacific
In the Asia-Pacific region, Philippine Airlines took the lead with a solid 89.37%. Second place went to IndiGo with 86.11%, and third place was taken by Thai AirAsia with 82.15%.
Middle East and Africa
In the Middle East and Africa, the top position went to Royal Jordanian, which achieved a remarkable 92.58% — the highest percentage among all regions. Second place was taken by Safair with 91.29%, followed by Qatar Airways, which recorded 83.91%.
