Air Transat is expanding its Summer 2026 program with the launch of a new non-stop service between Montreal and Agadir. This connection strengthens the Canadian airline’s presence in Morocco and responds to growing demand from leisure travelers and the Moroccan community residing in Quebec.
The flight will operate every Friday from June 12 to October 23, 2026, aboard an Airbus A321LR.
A Direct Link Between Quebec and Morocco’s Atlantic Coast
“Morocco is more popular than ever, both for its landscapes and rich culture, and for the ties of the diaspora that connect our two regions,” said Sebastian Ponce, Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer.
According to the executive, this new connection offers a simple, fast, and friendly experience, true to Air Transat’s promise of making every journey inspiring and enjoyable.
Located on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, Agadir is renowned for its extensive beaches and warm hospitality. This new route naturally complements the existing service to Marrakech, making Air Transat the only North American airline offering direct flights to Agadir.
Increased Frequencies on Key Routes
In addition to the new Agadir connection, Air Transat will increase the frequency on several transatlantic routes to respond to growing demand and improve connectivity with Porter Airlines’ expanding network, thereby enhancing connectivity via Toronto.
New Scheduled Frequencies:
| Route | Frequency |
| Toronto – Berlin | 3 flights per week (+1) |
| Toronto – Lima | 3 flights per week (+1) |
| Toronto – Istanbul | 3 flights per week (+1) |
With the addition of Agadir and increased frequencies on strategic routes, Air Transat reaffirms its commitment to offering more options and better connectivity to its passengers.
This approach combines expansion into high-demand leisure destinations with the enhancement of its partnership network, solidifying its position as one of the most relevant airlines in the transatlantic market from Canada.
