Avianca continues to strengthen its presence in Latin America with the launch of two new international routes providing direct connections from Bogotá to Monterrey (Mexico) and Belém (Brazil). These operations, part of its expansion strategy, reinforce the airline’s commitment to air connectivity and regional development.
Two New Destinations to Enhance Latin American Connectivity
The routes, operated using Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity for 180 passengers, offer a direct alternative for business and leisure travelers, while expanding connection opportunities to over 80 destinations in the Americas and Europe.
“The start of these two new operations reflects our commitment to strengthening air connectivity in Latin America. With Monterrey, we reinforce our presence in Mexico, while we open a new gateway between Colombia and northern Brazil with our route to Belém,” stated Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca.
