Emirates announced this Wednesday the addition of six extra weekly flights on its route to London Heathrow, starting October 26, 2025. With this adjustment, the airline will operate 48 weekly frequencies at one of the world’s busiest airports, responding to strong demand growth and anticipating the peak year-end travel period.
Currently, Emirates operates six daily flights between Dubai and Heathrow using the Airbus A380, its flagship aircraft. The new service will be added using the Boeing 777-300ER, equipped with over 350 seats in three classes: First, Business, and Economy.
Schedules Designed for Global Connectivity
Departures from London have been strategically scheduled to offer seamless connections to key destinations such as Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta.
Likewise, flights into Heathrow facilitate connectivity for passengers originating from Western Asia – including Ahmedabad, Lahore, Maldives, Hyderabad, and Chennai – as well as from cities in mainland China like Beijing and Shanghai, and several key points in the Middle East, including Bahrain, Dammam, and Riyadh.

Growth Across London Airports
The expansion at Heathrow is complemented by a boost at Gatwick, where Emirates announced a fourth daily flight starting February 8, 2026, operated with the new Airbus A350.
With these enhancements, the airline will reach a total of 90 weekly flights to London by early next year. Furthermore, by February 2026, Emirates will serve the United Kingdom with 146 flights per week across its three London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted) and other regional destinations such as Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
