LATAM Brasil continues to solidify its position as the leading airline in the country, reporting a 14% increase in its consolidated capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASK), in September compared to the same month in 2024. This growth reflects a sustained expansion in its domestic network and a reinforcement of air connectivity throughout Brazil.
New Routes Strengthen National Network
During September, the company launched five new domestic routes:
- Bonito–Guarulhos
- Dourados–Guarulhos
- Fortaleza–Paranaiba
- Florianopolis–Porto Alegre
- Belo Horizonte–Porto Alegre
These operations strengthen LATAM’s presence in strategic regions, facilitating access to tourist destinations and key connection hubs within the country. Furthermore, the airline took a significant step in its international expansion by opening the Buenos Aires (Aeroparque)–Porto Alegre route, connecting southern Brazil with one of South America’s main air markets.

Sustained Growth for LATAM Group
The LATAM Airlines Group also recorded a consolidated 8.7% increase in its capacity (ASK) compared to the previous year, driven by a 9.6% increase in international supply and the solid performance of the Brazilian domestic market.
This growth is directly reflected in demand: the group’s consolidated traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPK), grew by 8.8%, with increases across all segments. The domestic market of LATAM Brasil stands out, registering a notable 17% year-on-year advance.
High and Rising Load Factors and Passenger Numbers
The group’s consolidated load factor remained at a high level of 84.2%, stable compared to 2024. In the case of LATAM Brasil, the load factor reached 85%, representing a growth of 2.2 percentage points compared to the same month last year.
During September, the group transported 7.3 million passengers, an 8% increase compared to 2024. Between January and September 2025, LATAM has already moved 64.5 million travelers, consolidating its leadership on the continent.
New Routes Scheduled for 2025
The airline maintains its expansion pace and has confirmed the opening of at least eight additional routes within Brazilian territory before the end of the year:
- Congonhas–Sao Luis
- Guarulhos–Boa Vista
- Guarulhos–Ribeirao Preto
- Guarulhos–Uberaba
- Galeao–Curitiba
- Brasilia–Foz do Iguacu
- Routes Galeao–Belem (for COP30) and Congonhas–Teresina
These additions will further expand LATAM’s network, reinforcing its role as a key connector between Brazil’s main economic, tourist, and regional hubs.
Cargo Operations Also Grow
In the cargo segment, capacity measured in Available Tonne Kilometers (ATK) reached 688 million, representing a 2.9% growth compared to the same month the previous year. This result confirms the importance of cargo transportation within the group’s comprehensive strategy.
LATAM Brasil continues to bet on sustainable expansion, combining operational efficiency, connectivity, and growth on all fronts.
