LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of three new direct routes from Krakow to Rome, Barcelona, and Madrid. This expansion is part of its strategy to develop a regional network that connects the potential of Polish cities with major European tourist and business destinations.
Strategic Expansion from Krakow
With sustained growth and a modern fleet, the Polish airline aims to leverage the potential of its regional hubs to offer residents of Małopolska new travel options, while also providing international travelers with the opportunity to discover Krakow and southern Poland.
“The development of the regional flight network is a strategic direction that allows us to fully capitalize on the potential of Polish cities and regions. Thanks to the new fleet, we can expand our offerings both from Warsaw and from regional airports, providing passengers with a comfortable journey,” emphasized Michał Fijoł, CEO and President of the Board of LOT Polish Airlines.
Fijoł stressed that Krakow Airport has established itself as one of the most dynamic in Europe, driving the development of the entire region. “We are pleased to be able to respond to these needs by offering residents of Małopolska three new destinations to some of Europe’s most attractive cities: Rome, Barcelona, and Madrid.”
