Lufthansa is taking another step in renewing its onboard experience with the debut of Allegris, its new, modern long-haul cabin, now also available on flights departing from Frankfurt. Starting in October, passengers can enjoy this upgrade on routes to Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, and Hyderabad, and from December, also to Austin, Texas.
A Renewed Experience in All Travel Classes
Travelers departing from Frankfurt can experience the enhanced comfort of Allegris, a concept that redefines standards across all cabin classes. Lufthansa is utilizing its new Boeing 787 “Dreamliners” equipped with these state-of-the-art cabins, offering high-quality materials, advanced technology, and a design focused on personalizing the travel experience.
The first Allegris flight from Frankfurt took off for Toronto, Canada, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the German airline.
Proven Success from Munich
The Allegris cabin originally debuted on Airbus A350-900 aircraft operating from Munich in May 2024, and the results were swift: over half a million passengers have already enjoyed the new configuration, with more than 90% expressing a very positive assessment.

The Allegris proposition combines comfort, privacy, and functionality, featuring innovative seating and a design centered on the individual passenger experience, whether in Economy Class, Business Class, or First Class.
“We are delighted to now offer our Frankfurt passengers our newest and most enhanced long-haul travel experience with Allegris. The response from travelers has been exceptional, and we are proud to extend this premium cabin from our largest operational hub,” said Francesco Sciortino, Director of the Lufthansa Airlines Frankfurt hub.
The executive also highlighted that the expansion plan will continue in the coming months. With the arrival of new Boeing 787 aircraft, Lufthansa will announce new intercontinental destinations that will feature the Allegris cabin, reinforcing its commitment to fleet modernization and the passenger experience.
