Porter Airlines has unveiled a significant expansion of its winter 2025-2026 schedule, with capacity increases of up to 25% to sun destinations during peak demand periods. The airline also announced the launch of four new routes, broadening its network and strengthening its presence in both the United States and the Caribbean.
First Transborder Flight from Vancouver
One of the most notable announcements is the first transborder service from Vancouver, with a non-stop flight to Phoenix. This new connection provides a key gateway for travelers from Western Canada seeking warm winter climates.
Expansion in Ottawa with Connection to American Airlines Hubs
Ottawa International Airport will be one of the major beneficiaries. Porter is adding routes to Phoenix and Miami, two American Airlines hubs. This move not only provides passengers with access to attractive destinations in their own right but also enhances connectivity across North America thanks to Porter’s recent codeshare agreement with American Airlines.
