Air Europa continues to precisely execute its growth roadmap and strengthens its positioning in both the Spanish domestic and Italian markets. The airline will introduce new routes and increase frequencies starting next June, with Madrid-Barajas as the central hub of the strategy.

New Domestic Routes: Oviedo and Seville Return to Air Europa’s Map

Starting June 1, Air Europa will launch two new connections from its main hub in Madrid-Barajas to Oviedo and Seville. Both routes will operate with two daily frequencies, which will be maintained year-round—a particularly relevant detail in a context where many airlines opt for seasonal operations.

The flights will be operated with Boeing 737 aircraft, the backbone of the company’s short- and medium-haul fleet, a choice that ensures operational efficiency and consistency in the onboard product.

Strategic Reinforcement of the Italian Market: More Flights to Milan and Rome

Parallel to domestic growth, Air Europa deepens its commitment to Italy, one of the European markets with the highest traffic volume from Spain. The airline will increase its flights between Madrid and Milan and between Madrid and Rome from two to three daily frequencies.

This capacity increase consolidates the company’s presence on high-density routes, key for both business passengers and connecting traffic.

As with the new domestic routes, these operations will be carried out with Boeing 737 aircraft, maintaining a homogeneous fleet that simplifies management and reduces costs.

In this way, Air Europa moves steadily forward in its expansion plan, combining new routes, increased frequencies, and an increasingly diversified network.
