Emirates Skywards, the loyalty program of Emirates and flydubai, has announced a new strategic partnership with Jet2.com, one of the UK’s leading leisure airlines. The agreement allows program members to redeem miles for Jet2.com flights to over 75 destinations, reinforcing a clear trend: transforming miles into a more flexible, tangible asset aligned with European holiday travel.
This initiative not only broadens redemption options but also confirms the strategic importance of the United Kingdom within the Emirates Skywards commercial ecosystem.
A Partnership Designed for the European Leisure Traveler
The partnership with Jet2.com allows Emirates Skywards members to redeem Skywards Miles for flights starting from just 8,000 miles, including taxes and fees, a key point in terms of real value perception for the customer.
Jet2.com, the UK’s third largest airline, operates from 14 airport bases and connects the country with high-demand destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Canary Islands. From March 2026, the airline will also add London Gatwick as a new operational base, further expanding the reach of this collaboration.
Beyond the flight ticket, the redemption includes complementary services such as in-flight meals, extra baggage, and preferred seat selection, strengthening the program’s comprehensive value proposition.
Emirates Skywards Vision: More Choices, More Value
For Emirates Skywards, the focus is clearly on the UK market. As expressed by Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards: “The UK is one of our key markets, and we are delighted to expand our portfolio to offer millions of members the opportunity to redeem flight rewards for popular holiday destinations served by Jet2.com.”

The executive also emphasized that the goal is to maximize value, choice, and flexibility, pillars that are increasingly decisive in modern loyalty programs.
Jet2.com: Access to New Premium Customers
For Jet2.com, the alliance represents a direct gateway to a frequent and high-value customer base. Doug Turner, General Manager of 3rd Party Supply & Distribution for the airline, highlighted: “This partnership allows us to offer even more customers the chance to fly with our award-winning airline and continue attracting new passengers.”
The agreement aligns with Jet2.com’s strategy of sustained growth in the leisure segment, supported by a strong reputation for customer service.
Concrete Examples: How Mile Value Materializes
Emirates Skywards illustrates the practical impact of the agreement with real-world scenarios:
- A member flying London-Sydney via Dubai in Premium Economy Flex Plus can earn 18,000 miles, enough to redeem a Jet2.com roundtrip flight between London Stansted and Mallorca.
- Two Manchester-Dubai flights in Business Class Flex allow members to earn 21,000 miles, redeemable for a Jet2.com roundtrip flight between Manchester and Salzburg, ideal for a ski trip.
These examples illustrate a key point: long-haul miles can be transformed into complete European holidays without additional out-of-pocket expense.
The UK, Emirates Skywards’ Largest Market
With over 37 million members globally, Emirates Skywards has its largest member base in the United Kingdom. The program allows members to earn miles not only by flying but also through a wide network of partners:
- Shopping at The Bicester Village
- E-commerce via Skywards Miles Mall
- Hotels with Emirates Skywards Hotels, Marriott Bonvoy, and ALL Accor
- Travel packages with Emirates Holidays
Furthermore, members can earn and redeem miles with 20 partner airlines, including United, Air Canada, TAP Air Portugal, and Qantas, expanding connectivity from the UK to global destinations.
An Award-Winning and Constantly Expanding Program
In 2025, Emirates Skywards was recognized as the “Best Global Airline Loyalty Program” at the International Loyalty Awards, consolidating its position as one of the sector’s most robust programs.
The four-tier scheme (Blue, Silver, Gold, and Platinum) offers progressive benefits, while miles can be used for flights, upgrades, hotels, retail shopping, and exclusive experiences.
