Air Europa Adds Bologna and Tangier to Summer Schedule for First Time

Air Europa is approaching the upcoming summer season with a strategic expansion of its short and medium-haul network. For the first time, the airline will incorporate Bologna and Tangier into its summer programming. Additionally, it will resume operations to Tunis, Marrakech, Athens, and Alghero, strengthening its presence in European and North African markets during the period of highest demand.

The operation, which will be concentrated during the peak summer months, will result in more than 700 round-trip flights and an offer of nearly 130,000 new seats. All of these will be operated using the Boeing 737 fleet, primarily the MAX version.

New Destinations: Bologna and Tangier Join the Network

Bologna: Three Weekly Frequencies During Peak Season The company will establish a new direct connection from Madrid-Barajas Airport to Bologna during July and August. The route will feature three weekly frequencies, reinforcing connectivity between Spain and Italy during the peak tourist activity period.

Tangier: Progressive Growth Up to Five Frequencies Operations to Tangier will begin on June 16 with three weekly flights. As the season progresses, the frequency will increase to five flights per week in August, before concluding in mid-September.
