GOL Resumes São Paulo-Caracas Route Starting in March
The air connectivity between Brazil and Venezuela is recovering one of its key pieces. GOL Linhas Aéreas has confirmed it will resume direct flights between São Paulo/Guarulhos and Caracas starting March 8, marking the return of an operation that had been suspended last November.
This decision ends a nearly four-month hiatus caused by a security alert issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States.
Operational Details of the Resumption
The airline will operate the route with a frequency of four weekly flights (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays). This schedule aims to balance corporate and leisure demand, as well as regional connections from the Guarulhos hub.

The service will follow the itinerary below:
- São Paulo – Caracas
Departure from São Paulo/Guarulhos: 17:05
Arrival in Caracas: 22:10
- Caracas – São Paulo
Departure from Caracas: 23:50
Arrival in Guarulhos: 07:00 (next day)
Flights will be operated using the Boeing 737 MAX 8, configured with 176 seats.
