Turkish Airlines Confirms Return to Venezuela: Istanbul-Caracas Route Resumes in March
Turkish Airlines will once again provide a direct connection between Venezuela and its global hub in Istanbul starting March 3, marking the restart of one of the most significant intercontinental routes for the Venezuelan aviation market.
The decision concludes a suspension of operations that the airline had implemented at the end of November 2025. This represents a strategic move that will be closely monitored by industry executives as well as network and fleet planning analysts.
According to the statement sent by Turkish Airlines to travel agencies, the Istanbul–Caracas–Istanbul route will initially operate with three weekly frequencies, specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The airline will utilize Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

- Istanbul – Caracas: Flight TK223
Departure from Istanbul (IST): 15:30 local time
Arrival in Caracas (CCS): 21:50
- Caracas – Istanbul: Flight TK224
Departure from Maiquetia (CCS): 23:45
Arrival in Istanbul (IST): 18:30 the following day
From a network perspective, these schedules are clearly designed to maximize connections at the Istanbul hub, one of the most powerful in the world in terms of geographical reach. For the Venezuelan passenger, this translates into efficient access to destinations in:
