Air Canada has introduced its most significant investment in cabin interior design, revealing the new «Glowing Hearted» standard for its long-haul fleet during the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany. This renovation seeks to redefine the passenger’s connection with the brand through a distinctively Canadian experience that prioritizes comfort and functionality.
«New Frontiers» Strategy and the Leap to the Next Generation
The introduction of these cabins is a centerpiece of Air Canada’s New Frontiers growth strategy, designed to position the company as one of the leading global airlines. According to Mark Nasr, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, the investment seeks to establish a new standard of craftsmanship and durability, responding directly to customer feedback.
The design is inspired by Canadian landscapes, utilizing a color palette of grey and stone, complemented by natural wood details, bronze metallic accents, and the airline’s iconic red embroidery.

The modernization will be initially implemented in the newest aircraft of the fleet, introducing unprecedented levels of luxury in certain segments.

Restructuring the North American Fleet
Air Canada is also executing a modernization plan for its regional and short-haul fleet:

- Air Canada Rouge: Boeing 737 MAX aircraft will join Rouge in 2026, offering seatback entertainment and free Wi-Fi sponsored by Bell on routes to the Caribbean and sun destinations.
- Air Canada Express: Aircraft operated by Jazz Aviation will receive new cabins and already feature next-generation Wi-Fi connectivity services.
This comprehensive transformation is complemented by the expansion of the global VIP lounge network, with new openings and renovations scheduled for this year in Canada and Europe, consolidating an end-to-end hospitality experience. Further details regarding the update of onboard food, beverage, and amenity services are expected to be revealed by the end of this year.
