Cirium, a firm specializing in aviation sector analytics, has released its monthly on-time performance report for March 2026. In the “Global Airlines” category, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) claimed the top spot with 89.75% of its flights arriving on schedule.
In North America, Alaska Airlines secured first place with an 82.73% on-time performance rate. Delta Air Lines followed in second position with 78.63%, while United Airlines took third place with 78.49%.
Within the Latin American market, Sky Airline was the most punctual, recording a notable 84.12% of flights on time. It was followed by Copa Airlines with 92.75%, the Brazilian carrier GOL with 90.05%, Aeromexico with 88.88%, and AZUL with 85.13%.
The European continent was led by Austrian Airlines, which achieved a 92.23% rating. SAS ranked second with 89.75%, while the Polish carrier LOT rounded out the podium with 89.52%.
In Asia-Pacific, Singapore Airlines topped the list at 88.32%. T’Way Air took the second spot with 88.11%, and Jeju Air ranked third with 87.01%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Safair reached first place with 91.60% punctuality. South African Airways positioned itself in second place with 86.06%, followed by Airlink in third with 85.32%.
