Delta Revolutionizes Premium Experience: New Delta One Suites to Debut on Airbus A350-1000 Starting in 2027

Delta Air Lines has announced an investment exceeding $1 billion for fleet modernization, centered on the debut of its next-generation Delta One suites on the Airbus A350-1000 and a comprehensive cabin overhaul of its Airbus A330-200/300 aircraft.

This initiative seeks to raise the standard for comfort and privacy on long-haul flights, with the airline projecting that 90% of Delta One seats will feature sliding privacy doors by the year 2030. The transformation extends beyond the premium cabin, including design and connectivity enhancements across all service classes.

Airbus A350-1000: Delta’s New Flagship

The arrival of the Airbus A350-1000, scheduled for early 2027, will mark a milestone for the airline as its largest and newest aircraft. This aircraft will be delivered in a configuration that prioritizes exclusivity, offering a 50% premium seating mix.

As part of this multi-billion dollar investment, Delta will update its Airbus A330-200/300 fleet to unify the brand experience. For the first time on this fleet, the Delta One cabin will incorporate privacy doors.

The airline has introduced exclusive snack stations for Delta One customers, located at the main boarding door on the A350-1000 and at the front of the A330-200/300 cabins, allowing passengers to control their time outside of scheduled meal services.
