LATAM and Brussels Airlines Sign Codeshare Agreement to Boost Connectivity Between Brazil and Europe
The Brazilian subsidiary of LATAM Airlines is set to strengthen its presence in the Old Continent through a new codeshare agreement with Brussels Airlines. This technical and commercial collaboration aims to maximize transit options for passengers traveling from South America to key markets across Europe.
The agreement has been structured to coincide with the launch of LATAM’s new direct route between São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport and Brussels Airport, with operations scheduled to commence in June.
Passenger Benefits and Network Reach
Under this cooperation model, travelers will be able to purchase a single ticket for itineraries connecting Brazil with a network of 17 cities operated by the Belgian flag carrier. This operational integration provides access to critical connectivity benefits, such as:
- Integrated booking for the entire journey.
- Single check-in from the point of origin.
- Through-checked baggage to the final destination.
- Optimized schedules and connection times.

Destination Network via Brussels
LATAM passengers will be able to connect in the Belgian capital to the following countries and cities:
- Germany: Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich.
- France: Lyon, Marseille, and Toulouse.
- Switzerland: Geneva and Zurich.
- Poland: Krakow and Warsaw.
- Sweden: Stockholm and Gothenburg.
- United Kingdom: Manchester.
- Denmark: Copenhagen.
- Norway: Oslo.
- Czech Republic: Prague.
Aline Mafra, Director of Sales and Marketing at LATAM Brazil, highlighted that this alliance represents a fundamental step in simplifying access for Brazilians to high-demand European markets. According to the executive, combining the agreement with the new route to Brussels reaffirms the company’s commitment to consolidating its position as the primary connector between Brazil and the rest of the world.
Ticket Availability
Tickets for these new routes and connections under the codeshare agreement have been available for sale since April 1. Interested passengers can book through the airline’s official portal and its standard distribution channels.
