Iberia has been designated as the official airline responsible for transporting the Spanish national football team to the 2026 World Cup, which will take place across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. To fulfill this mission, the carrier will operate a special charter flight utilizing one of the most modern and sustainable aircraft in its fleet.

“Talento a Bordo”: The Strategic Sponsorship Framework
Iberia’s role as a sponsor of the Spanish national football team is part of “Talento a Bordo” (Talent on Board), the airline’s proprietary initiative aimed at promoting and showcasing Spanish talent on the international stage.
Through this platform, the company projects shared values with the sporting world, such as effort, teamwork, and the spirit of self-improvement. In addition to sports, this sponsorship program covers diverse sectors including innovation, cinema, music, fashion, gastronomy, art, and design, consolidating the airline’s strategy to connect Spain’s cultural and professional potential with the rest of the world.
