Cirium, a firm specializing in aviation sector analytics, has released its monthly on-time performance report for April 2026. In the “Global Airlines” category, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) secured the top spot once again, with 89.53% of its flights arriving on schedule.
North America
In North America, Alaska Airlines claimed first place with 85.45% of operations on time. Delta Air Lines followed in second position with 84.23%, while WestJet rounded out the top three at 82.80%.
Latin America
In the Latin American market, Copa Airlines was the most punctual, achieving a remarkable 92.86% on-time performance—the highest percentage recorded globally. It was followed by Sky Airline at 89.84%, Aeromexico at 85.43%, Brazil’s Azul at 84.34%, and GOL at 84.03%.

Europe
The European continent was led by SAS with 89.53%. Norwegian ranked second with 89.25%, while the Spanish carrier Vueling completed the podium with 89.04%.
Asia-Pacific
In the Asia-Pacific region, Singapore Airlines headed the list with 87.52%. Garuda Indonesia took the second spot with 86.08%, and Scoot placed third with 85.78%.
Middle East and Africa
In the Middle East and Africa, Royal Jordanian reached first place with a 92.44% on-time arrival rate. FlySafair positioned itself in second place with 91.16%, followed by Qatar Airways in third with 86.94%.
