Strategic Investment in Customer Experience
Dominic Green, United Airlines’ Director of In-Flight Entertainment, emphasized that entertainment is a cornerstone of the passenger experience. “With these popular Peacock series, we are introducing a standout lineup of widely recognized productions, strengthening our premium offering and providing more engaging ways to spend time in the air,” Green stated.
This new channel complements United’s robust library, which currently includes:
- Over 450 movies.
- Over 1,000 television episodes.
- More than 100 international titles.
- Over 140 hours of podcast content.
In addition to Peacock, United maintains one of the industry’s most extensive selections of premium content, with partnerships including Apple TV+, HBO Max, A24, and Spotify.
Technological Leadership in the Cabin
United continues to lead the industry in IFE technology, boasting the largest fleet equipped with Bluetooth-enabled screens, surpassing 800 aircraft.
As part of its modernization program, the airline is inducting new aircraft equipped with 27-inch 4K OLED screens. These monitors represent the largest displays currently installed by any U.S. carrier, ensuring a high-fidelity visual experience for customers.
With the addition of Peacock, United Airlines reaffirms its commitment to delivering a connected, high-quality travel experience, positioning itself at the forefront of digital content and technology within the aviation sector.
