Aerolineas Argentinas and SAS Sign Codeshare Agreement to Connect South America and Scandinavia

Aerolineas Argentinas and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), both member carriers of the SkyTeam alliance, have signed a strategic codeshare agreement. This cooperation will optimize transatlantic connectivity between South America and Northern Europe, opening up new flight options for passengers in both regions.

An Integrated Transatlantic Network via Europe

The new agreement will allow both airlines to expand their global reach by leveraging key connection points across the European continent. Under the framework of this alliance, Aerolineas Argentinas will place its code on flights operated by SAS connecting Madrid and Rome with the Scandinavian capitals of Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo.

Concurrently, SAS will market under its own code the transatlantic flights operated by the Argentine flag carrier connecting Buenos Aires with Madrid and Rome. This network synergy will facilitate a more efficient traffic flow between the Southern Cone and Scandinavian markets.
