Arajet inaugurated its new nonstop route between Punta Cana and the city of Rosario, Argentina, on Tuesday. The operation marks a major milestone by directly connecting one of the main urban centers in Argentina’s central region with one of the Caribbean’s most popular tourist destinations, strengthening the airline’s international connectivity network.
Operational Details and Route Connectivity
The new strategic air service offers passengers from the Argentine interior an efficient alternative to reduce travel times to the Caribbean without relying on centralized hub connections. The operational specifications include:
- Weekly Frequencies: The service will feature three weekly flights, regularly scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Connecting Hubs: In addition to direct access to Punta Cana, the route allows passengers to connect with the international network that the airline operates from its hubs in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.
Consolidation of the Argentine Market
The addition of Rosario marks the fourth Argentine city to join Arajet’s route network, a key step in its aggressive expansion plan across the Southern Cone. The decision comes in response to the positive evolution of local demand for international beach and leisure destinations.
