Porter Airlines will continue to expand its winter network with the addition of services to Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos. These new routes will operate non-stop from two of the airline’s major Canadian hubs. Additionally, Hamilton International Airport will add a new non-stop travel option to the state of Florida in the United States.
New Routes and Flight Schedules
The expansion of non-stop flights designed to connect three Canadian airports with popular vacation destinations will follow this chronological schedule:
- From Toronto Pearson International Airport: Service to Turks and Caicos will begin on November 6, operating five times a week.
- From Ottawa International Airport: Flights to Turks and Caicos will launch on December 17, operating twice a week.
- From Hamilton International Airport: Route to Tampa International Airport will debut on December 18, offering four weekly frequencies.
Consolidation of the Seasonal Leisure Market
With the addition of Turks and Caicos, the airline introduces its fifth new sun destination for the winter season, joining recent route announcements to Aruba, San Jose (Costa Rica), Montego Bay, and Los Cabos. This seasonal network complements Porter’s existing scheduled operations to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Nassau, Grand Cayman, and Liberia.
Furthermore, the connection between Hamilton and Tampa marks the third city in the state of Florida served by the carrier from Hamilton, expanding the current offering that already includes Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.

Onboard Experience on the Embraer E195-E2 Fleet
All passengers on these routes will fly aboard state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, configured with 132 seats. The airline’s value proposition focuses on an elevated economy class service highlighted by the following key features:
