Wingo will suspend its scheduled operations between Bogota and Santo Domingo starting July 4. The move will force a market reorganization on this Caribbean route, reducing direct connectivity options between the capitals of Colombia and the Dominican Republic.

Operational Details and Final Scheduled Flights

The airline formally notified Colombia’s Civil Aeronautics Authority (Aerocivil) regarding the cessation of services on this route. The final itineraries have been scheduled as follows:

  • Final departure from Bogota: The outbound flight will take off on July 3 at 23:18.
  • Final return from Santo Domingo: The inbound leg is scheduled for July 4 at 03:46.

According to the carrier, the decision is a response to operational adjustments within its network.

With Wingo’s exit, flights between both capital cities will be exclusively concentrated in the hands of two operators: Avianca and Arajet.
