Air France will expand its Caribbean interregional network during the 2026/27 winter season with the launch of a new seasonal service between Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Panama City. Operating twice weekly, the service will strategically boost connectivity between the French West Indies and Latin America via Panama’s primary aviation hub.
Operational Details of the New Trans-Caribbean Service
The route is scheduled to launch on December 11, 2026, running through March 5, 2027. Operations will be deployed using Airbus A320 family aircraft, offering capacity tailored to regional leisure and corporate travel demand.

The flight schedule has been structured as follows:
Pointe-à-Pitre – Panama City
- Frequency: Mondays and Fridays
- Departure: 16:30 – Arrival: 18:55
Panama City – Pointe-à-Pitre
- Frequency: Tuesdays and Saturdays
- Departure: 09:00 – Arrival: 13:05
Strategic Connectivity and French Caribbean Expansion
The opening of this air link will allow passengers traveling from Guadeloupe to seamlessly connect with an extensive destination network across the Americas, leveraging the connectivity provided by the Hub of the Americas in Panama.
At the same time, the seasonal schedule enables Air France to consolidate its footprint in the French Caribbean, optimizing its operational capacity during the peak winter holiday season.
