During the first half of 2026, a total of 29 million passengers traveled through Colombia’s airport network, representing a 5.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Domestic Market
In the domestic market, 16.4 million passengers were transported, posting a 6.1% growth rate. This rise reflects increased demand for interregional travel, growing local confidence in air transportation, and a strengthening domestic tourism industry.

International Market
International passenger traffic maintained a positive trajectory with a 4.8% increase. Key contributing factors included a surge in travel to and from Central and South America, as well as several international events hosted across the country.
Air Cargo and Mail Performance
The air cargo segment handled a total volume of 505,775 metric tons between January and June 2026, representing a 5.6% year-over-year increase.
- International Freight: Accounted for the largest share of total operational volume at 435,101 tons, up 6.0% year-over-year. This performance directly strengthened supply chains, foreign trade, and e-commerce logistics.
- Domestic Freight: Recorded 70,674 tons, a 3.1% rise, underscoring the vital role of air transport in national supply distribution, commercial competitiveness, and regional integration across Colombia.
