Farnborough Airshow: SMBC Aviation Capital Places Order for 100 Additional Airbus A320neo Family Jets

Global aviation finance platform SMBC Aviation Capital has finalized a firm agreement for the purchase of 100 additional Airbus A320neo family aircraft. Signed during the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), the transaction comprises 65 A321neo and 35 A320neo aircraft.

This strategic commitment reinforces the company’s standing as one of the world’s leading lessors, securing long-term next-generation capacity and delivery slots for airlines in a high-demand operational environment.

Key Deal Highlights

The agreement strengthens a 25-year strategic commercial partnership between the lessor and Airbus, aimed at addressing the evolving requirements of global air transport.
