Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, Riyadh Air, has taken a decisive step forward in its international expansion strategy by officially opening ticket sales for its daily flights between Riyadh and Mumbai, India. The new service, scheduled to commence operations on August 4, 2026, brings the airline’s total network to nine destinations and reinforces its mission to connect the Saudi Kingdom with major global and regional hubs.
Strategic Connectivity and Next-Generation Fleet
The daily service to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai will be operated utilizing the airline’s fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. These widebodies feature state-of-the-art cabin interiors, designed to deliver a premium passenger experience across all travel classes.
In addition to providing a direct link between the two metropolises, the route has been strategically scheduled to capture high volumes of business and leisure travel demand from India to Saudi Arabia and onwards to Europe.

- Mumbai – Riyadh: Departure at 22:05, Arrival at 23:50.
- Riyadh – Mumbai: Departure at 14:05, Arrival at 20:35.
Riyadh as a Global Connecting Hub
The launch of this schedule consolidates the Saudi capital as a strategic transit hub. Passengers departing from Mumbai will benefit from seamless connectivity to key international gateways such as London and Madrid, as well as major regional destinations across the Middle East and Africa, including Jeddah and Cairo.

Tickets for these flights are now available for purchase through the airline’s official mobile application, its website, and preferred travel agencies or third-party booking platforms.
To mark the launch, Riyadh Air has invited travelers to register as “Founding Members” of its loyalty program, Sfeer. The frequent flyer program offers immediate benefits, including a best-fare guarantee, complimentary inflight Wi-Fi, and mileage accrual from the very first flight.
