Iberia Group Strengthens Menorca Connectivity This Winter with Three Daily Flights from Madrid

Iberia Group — comprising mainline carrier Iberia, low-cost subsidiary Iberia Express, and regional franchisee Air Nostrum — will expand its flight operations between Madrid-Barajas and Menorca Airport starting next November, offering a total of three daily flights throughout the winter season (running from November through March).

This operational capacity boost follows the tender award by Spain’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility for the operation of the route under the Public Service Obligation (PSO) framework.

The addition of this third daily frequency represents a substantial improvement in air connectivity for the island of Menorca:

“Adding an extra daily flight this winter represents a critical step toward overcoming seasonality and facilitating seamless travel for both business and leisure passengers.
