LATAM Airlines Brasil Opens Ticket Sales for Embraer E195-E2 Era: 42 Routes and 4 New Destinations
LATAM Airlines’ Brazilian subsidiary has launched ticket sales for operations featuring its new Embraer E195-E2 fleet, with manufacturer deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
Between November 2026 and March 2027, the carrier will gradually introduce up to 14 aircraft of the type to operate across 42 domestic routes in Brazil. This strategy marks the airline’s entry into four brand-new destinations:
- Cabo Frio (RJ)
- Ji-Parana (RO)
- Macae (RJ)
- Rondonopolis (MT)
With these additions, the airline’s domestic network will grow to 67 destinations, consolidating the largest domestic footprint in LATAM Airlines Brasil’s history.
Confirmed Routes and Launch Schedule
The first operational phase includes the launch of eight regularly scheduled routes:

Capacity Expansion in Existing Markets
In tandem with opening new stations, the Embraer E195-E2 will bolster seat capacity across six routes where the airline currently operates:
- Guarulhos – Palmas: Adding 4 weekly flights starting in December 2026 (reaching 21 weekly flights).
- Guarulhos – Uberlandia: Adding 2 weekly frequencies starting in December 2026 (reaching 28 weekly flights).
- Guarulhos – Cascavel: Increasing by 7 weekly flights starting in December 2026 (reaching 21 weekly flights).
- Guarulhos – Uberaba: Adding 1 weekly flight starting in December 2026 (reaching 4 weekly flights).
- Galeao – Curitiba: Adding 7 weekly frequencies in December 2026 (reaching 21 weekly flights).
- Porto Alegre – Curitiba: Increasing by 7 weekly flights in February 2027 (reaching 21 weekly flights).
Network Optimization and Second Phase Evaluation
The primary objective behind introducing the Brazilian-built twinjet is to enhance operational fleet efficiency. Consequently, the Embraer E195-E2 will take over specific frequencies currently operating out of Guarulhos Airport to Belo Horizonte/Confins, Brasilia, Caldas Novas, Cascavel, Curitiba, Juiz de Fora, Maceio, Manaus, Palmas, Pelotas, Porto Alegre, Recife, Ribeirao Preto, Rio de Janeiro/Galeao, Teresina, Uberaba, Uberlandia, and Vitoria. It will also take over operations on the interregional route between Fortaleza and Recife.
Jerome Cadier, CEO of LATAM Airlines Brasil, stated:
“This is merely the first phase of our E195-E2 deployment to bridge distances and connect more Brazilians within the country and to the world. At the same time, we are already evaluating up to 18 potential new destinations for a second expansion phase in 2027 as additional aircraft are delivered by Embraer.”
Cabin Interior and Passenger Experience
LATAM Airlines Brasil’s incoming Embraer E195-E2s will feature a total seating capacity of 136 seats in a 2-2 cabin layout (no middle seats).
- Cabins: Premium Economy and Economy classes will be available.
- Premium Economy: Up to 20 seats per aircraft (depending on the configuration), offering increased legroom, greater recline, and an upgraded onboard service.
- Connectivity and Entertainment: Complimentary Wi-Fi for registered LATAM Pass loyalty members, individual USB-C charging ports at every seat, and full access to the LATAM Play inflight entertainment platform (featuring movies, series, and streaming content).
Strategic Growth and Regulatory Market Leadership
LATAM Airlines Group’s firm order comprises 24 Embraer E195-E2 units, backed by 50 additional purchase options, reaffirming the group’s financial commitment to regional commercial aviation.
Since 2019, the company has expanded its route network from 44 to 63 airports within Brazil, expecting to reach 67 upon completing the initial roll-out of the aircraft type. On international routes, the group’s subsidiaries maintain direct links to over 90 global destinations, operating 31 of them nonstop from Brazil.
According to data published by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), LATAM Group has continuously held the largest market share in both the domestic and international sectors in Brazil since 2021.
